Scalding sun reflecting sparkles on Boracay’s blue water completed the perfect day of Beach Hut Surf School (Palm Sunday Edition). Four pretty young girls and six daring boys, ranging from 5-17 fervently rallied for the proficient skills that Beach Hut Surf School two sinewy instructors were ready to share.
The students need not have waited long for the perfect tide as it was already waiting for them.
This skimboarding family affair was composed of sisters, brothers and cousins who were ardently supported by their elders to try this breathtaking sport. Cousins Albert Antonio, Arie Hortaleza, Kyla Hortaleza, and Yanna Hortaleza were the first ones who were taught by Jaime, followed by good-looking brothers Luis and Rey Nazareno, while other cousins Christian Antonio and Ernie Hortaleza were taught by Aser.

All of them were taught the long ride effortlessly. Jaime also taught Luis how to do the wave ride, which glides straight toward the sea.
The red orange sky dramatically sunk into the oblivious sea to celebrate the end of this special Sunday Beach Hut Surf Class. But it wasn’t the end yet of an avid beginner Pako Ochoa who confidently honed his skimboarding skills at sundown.
