Sweat, sand, salt water, and even algae relentlessly cling to us as we waited for Beach Hut Surf School students. It was also not the right time to skimboard as well because the tide was still high at 3:00pm and stones were permeating Jonah's beach front, thereby making the sport hazardous to beginners.
At 4:00pm, hot Beach Hut instructors Jaime and Aser announced that the tide is right but only at Willy's Rock, which is around 200 meters away from Jonah's.

and Don Abelardo Melegito (who wasn't able to make it on time) hopped on the board for the breathtaking ride that only fine thin tide can bring.
At the end of this probationary experience, Beach Hut Clear Spray Sunblock users Roland Gaerlan and Jay Mendoza won the most coveted skimboards on the island.
