Solo Sunday

The sun is hot and the water is wavy in the most popular tourist destination in the World; tourists from Manila spend their vacations in Boracay with their family and friends under a no-schedule trip and whatever brilliant suggestion comes up is always the next plan.

This time, a dude named Francis Blanco signed up for his 2 hour skimboarding lesson at Zuzuni Restaurant after purchasing his own Beach Hut Skimboard. He had his lesson taught bt DJ Jaime on the splashy breakwater fronting Jonah's Fruit Shakes.

Francis was a natural. As a beginner, he was able to do an average "long-ride" on the skimboard, amidst the somewhat wavy sea, without losing his balance.

Jaime taught Francis everything he needed to learn so he can just practice on his own board when he wants to.

Beach hut Surf School ended just that. It's still the high season, but the impending arrival of the low season apparently has made this day special day for one.

Tune in for more Beach hut action next week as we await some more weather updates in Boracay Island.
